Attempting fraud or misrepresenting the truth to a bank or provider is never a good idea and could have lasting consequences. So here’s our friendly appeal to all Casino Guru community members: Stand up against unfair and dishonest casinos. Use our Complaints Resolution Center if you need help – you don’t have to fight alone. But please don’t try to get back money you’ve fairly lost. It’s simply not worth the risk. You’re unlucky you joined the forum late. One of my friends got £7000 back from almost 25 different merchants but they are wise to it now

Någon som har tips på hur man ska gå tillväga härnäst när banken (Revolut) inte vill var behjälpliga med chargeback?

De menar på att de inte har någon rätt att bestrida dessa transaktioner. Tar jag inte fått vara flyttar de över till bedrägeri och spärrat kortet.

Jag överklagade deras beslut men det hjälpte inte. Fick till mig att jag kunde vända mig till Bank of Lithuania eller State Consumer Rights Protection Authority om jag inte var nöjd med deras beslut.


Det konstiga är att Revolut har hjälpt till med några återbetalningar med motiveringen om felaktig MCC, gamblock och så vidare.


Nu funderar jag på vad jag kan göra som svensk mot dessa merchants i England, bank i Litauen och casino på Curaçao. Om det ens är lönt att försöka ta det vidare.


Har fortfarande inte hittat Keygo, London och nån handlare vill att jag ska skicka selfies och ID.

Känns hopplöst.

damn, it’s so annoying, it seems my only way to get my money is through the ombudsman

I got 5000 back from ombudsman but mine was on a technicality and was very lucky. If you want some advice. Any companies in Nigerian or Estonia. You can buy their company reports online for line £1. I got lots of money back directly emailing/messaging the owners. They phone numbers even become available and a lot have WhatsApp

I was honest and gave the full explanation and basically said that they miscoded gambling transactions in order to circumvent blocks (I had some at the time)

luckily I have Monzo, so I can see the merchant’s bank details and I can therefore complain to the holding account’s bank (I.e the company’s bank account provider). Don’t know if you can do the same with high street banks but might be worth contacting them to get the sort code and account number of the bank account you transferred the money to, or the address and location of the merchant if it was a card payment

I said I want a refund as you don’t allow UK players, they sent some terms and conditions, then I sent the previous email and then all sorted.

Chase were a pain on two previous chargebacks so I would imagine FOS route.

Unsure on Barclaycard, on a call they mentioned 14 days plus 1 (her words) but I cannot find anywhere online mention of that apart from the merchant has 14 days when they bank with Barclays to answer a chargeback but this won’t be applicable to the merchants in Nigeria.

I've heard about that too. Apparently, you have to wait 14 days from the purchase date before they can raise the chargeback. I think that actually is a legitimate rule unfortunately.

Santander just rang me to say that they can’t get my money back as they do not assist with gambling transactions, but the merchants on my statement aren’t anything to do with gambling! The guy on the phone said he could raise it as a chargeback but now I’m worried that these fake companies will make receipts or something? What should I do?

Only decent thing is barclaycard don’t include any fees or the transactions in the bill until resolved.
